How to make Vegan Date Banana Cake

  • Step 1

    To prepare this dessert recipe, firstly, preheat the oven at 180 degrees Celsius. Now, chop the deseeded dates and soak them in 1 cup milk for 2-3 hours. After a few hours, transfer the soaked dates, remaining almond milk, banana and honey in a blender jar and blend it until it is smooth. Make sure it turns into a paste. Transfer it to a bowl and add oil in it.

    Now, in another bowl, sift the almond flour, ragi flour and baking soda together. Gradually mix these dry ingredients in the date-milk paste and mix it well. Make sure that the mixture is smooth and lump free. Add 1/4 cup of chopped almonds and chocolate chips in it and reserve the half for later. Line a baking tin with butter paper and transfer the batter in it.

  • Step 3

    Sprinkle the remaining almonds and chocolate chips on the top. Transfer this baking tin in the preheated oven and bake until the toothpick comes out clean. Once done, take it out and let it cool. Cut into slices and serve it immediately to enjoy!
